Can you find a filename that gives problem or is it more a problem of the volume of the copy? Have a nice day! No, it gives a problem when the directory structure is being created. Maybe some extra info. It were 2 external harddrives connected through usb. One NTFS (source) the other one FAT. Regards Today I had the same problem but it was with a fat partition. I think I know the problem. When you copy from a partition were the permitions are " r-xr-xr-x " you can only copy 1 level down the directory your copying from. If there is a third level you will get error that I can't create the directory. Hope it helps. Regards KDE 3 is no longer maintained.
