I'm using the detailed view in konqueror to manage my files. 
 
If I use the media-kioslave, it changes my view to symbol view and I have to set it back to detailed manually. The smb-kioslave has this problem also (see Bug 72925 and Bug 86155), but all the others I've tested (audio-, ftp- and fish-kioslave) don't have this issue.

Well, it's not controlled from the ioslave itself...

Strange, but why do we have the problem with the media-kioslave (and the smb-kioslave), and not with all the other slaves, if it isn't controlled by the slave itself?

Works fine here in 3.5 SVN r575787. Can you reproduce the problem with KDE 3.5?
