I opt for the second way. And vice versa :-) changing KDE should not synchronize anything but simply change OS global settings. This should be the same thing as long there are enough system settings for KDE purposes. This one is important because some programs use the OS locale setting to determine various formats like time (24h or 12h). Setting region and language in the KDE cp do not correct anything and only a manual editing of the locale config file works. Please update the locale settings in the OS when region and language is changed in the cp. |
