- when your on the first item the up arrow highlights the last item - when your on the last item the down arrow highlights the first one So native KDE app: ALT+key and up arrow is equivalent to your GTK example. That's exactly what I am doing right now. But think of the (rare) situation, where you happen to be in the middle of a longer menu and want to go to the beginning or end immediately. In that case I would have to hit ESC-ESC-ALT+key-UP Yes, this whish is not the most important one in the world. But I filed it anyway since I guess it is not too hard to implement. It's a nano-scale improvement (so I won't give it a vote), but hey, it's still an improvement ;-) still not implemented in KDE 3.5.8. still hoping for that feature. I think also think this should work by default. I often miss this especially in krunner and in application launcher search: - Ctrl+right/left: to jump one word forward/behind - POS1/END: to jump to the first/last letter seems to be implemented now. --> resolved: workfsforme |
