Kate's incorrectly scaled layout.

Description Dylan Griffiths 2005-03-27 19:00:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
Compiler: GCC 3.4 64-bit package.
OS: Linux

With Kate, if you restore it from a maximized state, it will generate a window layout like attachement 1. If you grab the corner edge and do a diagonal resize (or even hit maximize), Kate will not correctly rescale the widgets inside to fill the space (see attachment #2 [details]).

I'm not able to reproduce this. Jowenn (or other amd64 users)?
And btw, how about other KMDI clients?

KDevelop does not exhibit this behaviour. Other apps I have also don't seem to do it, only Kate.

This are two BRs in one, but both are KMDI bugs:

1. Shade window, restore (duplicate of #96602). this is not fixed.
2. Wrong fixed height of the bottom pane. I fixed that for KDE 3.4.1.
