Description Arnaud Burlet 2005-03-14 09:58:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.92)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: ubuntu package
OS: Linux

While broswing the web, I usually create a new tab with ctrl+t or ctrl+shift+n, I then immediately type the url I want to visit in that new tab. Usually the first 3 letters I type appear in the url bar, and are cleared when the tab is fully displayed. What I expect is : the 3 letters I type quickly shall not be removed when the new tab is fully displayed !

how to reproduce :

open www.kde.org in a new konqueror window
hit ctrl+t (to create a new tab) and immediately type news.kde.org
if you are fast enough only "s.kde.org" appear in the url bar.

I can reproduce that with kde 3.2.x kde 3.3.x in kde 3.4 beta.
