This is what the "on-connect" commands section of the account preferences is for.
add "/join #channel"
"/join #channel2"
...etc
.. for any channels you want auto-joined.
I do not know if you have read the last paragraph of my bug report, but as I stated, the on-connect thingy is not applicable for unexperienced users. If one would rely on the commands one would not even need a "search for channel xyz" menu entry, neither a "enter channel xyz" entry. So if those commands are meant to be in a menu because they should be accessible to unexperienced users not using commands, you cannot expect them to use the commands for bookmarking a channel. I even think that chatzilla has the feature of setting a default channel to enter when going online, but am not sure as it has been a while. Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat. |
