I use CVS HEAD from 02/22/05 Using Jabber: When I send a message from e.g. myJID/Psi to myJID/Kopete (same JID, different resource), Kopete crashes. Unfortunately I got no usable backtrace although I enabled --enable-debug=full for both kdelibs and kdenetwork.
Same here. I noticed that the bug should be fixed (it isnt). There was a bug #75281 which was marked as fixed, but as you noticed correct it isnt. I use the resource system of jabber very extensive and wanted to migrate to the integrated kde messenger, but it doesnt work as expected.

I can't reproduce this here. Please try updating your copy and see if it works for you, too. If it still crashes, please reopen with current backtrace and exact steps to reproduce.
I use kde 3.4.0 (kopete 0.10 - so it is the newest stable version). Just opened psi select me->chat with->kopete and send a message -> kopete crashes.
I do exactly the same but it works for me. Please attach your debug log and a backtrace.

According to your debug log, you don't have yourself on your contact list, is that correct? Can you try updating to the latest SVN version?
The bug is not present in the latest SVN version, so it must have been fixed along the way.

The crash is caused by the statistics plugin, not by the Jabber plugin.
Might as well reassign and reopen then.
I noticed it some minutes before. When I deactivate it, kopete runs fine. Thx
i just tested to send with the same acount from kopete ( 3.4.2 ) to psi and psi to kopete and i have no crash can you confirm this too ?
