Version: 0.1beta1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.2) Installed from: SuSE RPMs OS: Linux TimeAdjust affects the file's modification date, but not the EXIF date. As far as I understand, the TimeAdjust plugin was created to adjust time settings of images which were taken with a misconfigured camera. To correct this, the EXIF date should be adjusted, not (only) the file's modification date.
timeadjust plugin by itself doesn't change any time for the files. it just informs the host app, asking it to change the file date. its for the host application to decide what actual physical time it should change
is it possible to move this bugreport to digikam then? because that is the host app i'm using. Or do I have to file a new one? Am Montag, 21. digiKam makes use of file modification date as the primary image date currently (this will change in 0.8). there is a wishlist bug #87780 which you might want to vote for. (for more detailed explanation for what the plans are, see #93468)
Not reproducible with 6.0.0, using stand alone Time Adjust tool restored by Maik for next 6.0.0-beta2 release. Gilles Caulier
