Version: (using KDE Devel) Installed from: Compiled sources OS: Linux Just upgraded from CVS KDE 3.3 to 2 days after KDE 3.4 Beta 2. I will send screenshots exemplifying this problem shortly. One way of triggering it is to minimise Konsole, restore it and then scroll the history (with the mousewheel). There appears to be multiple other triggers. To "fix" it, switch to another tab and then back. Font is set to "Medium" but reproducible with all fonts from "Normal" to "Huge". Not reproducible with "Linux" nor "Unicode". This is very serious as a mere KDE upgrade broke the konsole.
konsole_after.png = state at konsole_before.png followed by minimise, restore and then scroll. Created an attachment (id=9642) konsole_before.png Created an attachment (id=9643) konsole_after.png
If you are using CVS/HEAD, please update konsole again. Just after 3.4.beta2 was released, Konsole now uses KGlobalSettings->fixedFont (set in KControl->Appearance->Font). I tried your way of triggering it and could not reproduce. The 2nd screenshot does indeed look bad.

Today's CVS has the same problem. The rest of my KDE is 3.4beta2 + 2 days. > I tried your way of triggering it and could not reproduce. The 2nd > screenshot does indeed look bad. Is it reproduceable when you pick a Custom font? If you could find another way to reproduce this, it would be helpful. What distribution are you using?
I apologise for the late reply. Unfortunately, I have since totally changed my distro. The distro was Mandrake 9.0 (2002!) which had problems antialising in recent KDE builds. As no one else seems to have experienced this bug, it was an old and buggy distro and I don't have the setup to reproduce anymore, I suggest closing this report.
