Description Heino Stömmer 2005-02-12 09:15:27 UTC
Version: 3.3.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-rc3-mm1-mmx-ssefp

When using links on the desktop to keep the files in a 'secure' place it is sometimes neccessary to open the parent folder of the original file. This would be an nice feature in the context menu of the link (like 'go to folder ...', 'open parent folder...' or something like that.

All reports about file management mode reported against KDE 3 (konqueror) are being closed: konqueror in KDE 3 is no more developed and mantained. All bugs and wishes which could be interesting for Dolphin in KDE 4 (the new KDE file manager) has been collected into a specific list.

Please try the new file manager before request new features and report bugs.

Before submitting new reports check carefully the already opened KDE/Dolphin reports in order not to add duplicates.

Many thanks.
