Description Zack Cerza 2005-02-11 20:36:06 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

I've somehow finally convinced konsole to use a sane font on my system. But now when I open something that uses konsolepart - kate for example - it's using a font that is clearly not what I saved as my preference. The schema is also wrong, but that's another report.

Part of the point of KParts is that things are consistent, right?

konsole_parts uses $KDEHOME/share/config/konsolepartrc
konsole uses $KDEHOME/share/config/konsolerc

So they are 2 different preferences.

See http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94169 which is a wish to allow konsole_part to use konsole's settings. This may happen in KDE 4.0
