Description Tommi Tervo 2005-02-11 15:30:59 UTC
Version: 3.3.92 (using KDE 3.3.92 (beta2), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-8)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-xfs

I always remove location: and go button from location toolbar. But those comes back always when I update KDE version. Actually all changes are lost and default toolbar layout is restored.

Ah, found better category.
Comment 2 Tommi Tervo 2005-02-11 15:35:13 UTC
Stupid web-interface doesn't allow change product and component at same time.
Comment 3 Thiago Macieira 2005-02-12 02:10:41 UTC
That's expected and intentional.

The toolbars have a version number. If the master XMLUI file -- the one that says what the default layout is -- gets a version bump, the customisations are lost.

That's what Maks tells me. Feel free to contest that. WONTFIX because it's intentional.
Comment 4 Tommi Tervo 2005-02-12 12:27:13 UTC
Ugh, somehow I got bad feelings beforehand. For me this is very annoying behaviour, so I'll change this one to withlist-bug.

Yeah, that's correct, basically, merging application changes and user changes is hard, and we don't even keep enough info to do it, I think
