Description Adam Wiggins 2005-02-11 07:14:11 UTC
Version: 3.3.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

I've been using a webdav share for my KOrganizer resource, and I'm loving it for the calendar...with save on change and automatic reload every 10 minutes both my home and work computer are always synced. I just started using the todo list hoping that it would work as well, and it almost does - for adding items. Deleting them, however, and they always come back onto the list no matter what I do. Whether I check them and use "purge completed" or delete them directly with the delete key, every time I close and reopen KOrg (by clicking on the icon in the system tray) or if I leave the window open for a few minutes, it restores my previous todo list.

Ok, I figured it out: my work computer's upload url was missing a character, aparently a mistake from the cut-n-paste of the download url.

So, this should be changed to a wishlist: make a "use the same for both" checkbox similar to Konq's manual proxy configuration. It seems to me that most of the time you'll want to load and save from the same file, so this would avoid subtle typos or cut and paste errors between them, like this one.

Thanks for the additional information. KDE 3.4 is in string freeze, so we can't add such a checkbox for KDE 3.4. Maybe afterwards.

Cheers,
Reinhold

This check box would be a nice addition, and in my opinion should be checked by default, disabling (graying out) the upload edit box. The upload edit box should be grayed out when the resource is read only as well.
