Description Thanos Kyritsis 2005-02-11 00:40:33 UTC
Version: 1.2-CVS (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.3.4
OS: Linux

I'm using the xine engine (even though I don't think it matters).

I'm using two ways to seek in a track, both involving the mouse wheel:
1) Scrolling the wheel over the seeking bar in the playlist window
2) Scrolling the wheel + holding Shift over the icon in the taskbar

For both cases, if I go "mad" with the wheel, meaning I scroll continuously 5-6 times, the song struggles to go forward but then returns to 0:00 (the beginning).
In order for the seeking to work, I have to go smooth with the wheel: scroll once, song goes 10 seconds forward, then again and again. But if this happens quickly, song goes back to beginning.

Well, ok, it sounds like an unimportant bug but I guess amaroK deserves to be flawless, right ? :)

Can confirm this still with Amarok-1.4-SVN
xine-libs-1.3_pre from gentoo

I also had this problem, but only with long mixes >70min etc.

Yep, I can confirm this too, using amarok 1.4.5 and xine engine.
