Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.91) Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package OS: Linux Using a 'Show Only Selected categories' filter displays the matching todo items and the related parent todo items (even if the filter does not match the parent item). An attempt to print all items on this filtered list skips any matching todo item unless all the related parent todo items explicitly match the current filter. So the matching behaviour for displaying a filtered list and printing a filtered list is different, which is, for me, unexpected behaviour. I think the matching used for printing the filtered list should be the same as the matching for displaying the filtered list, i.e. print the matching todo items and the related parent todo items (not, as currently, skip the parent and sub-todo items if the parent doesn't match, but a sub-todo does match). Bug #35631 is the most closely related, but due to, what I consider, inconsistent and unplanned behaviour I've opened a new bug report. This is my first bug report in the entire world so I hope I have provided useful information and have made sense. Thanks for your time, Bill
Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list.
This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.
Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
