Description Pablo Pita Leira 2005-01-25 14:45:12 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 3.3 -march athlon-xp
OS: Linux

Follow this steps.

- Open a pdf document.
- On a page, right-click with the mouse to get the context menu, so that it appears.
- Move the mouse out, and scroll the page with the wheel of the mouse (I have one).
- Try to close again the context menu. I can not.

Hi, this has resulted to be a bug inside Qt, we're waiting from an answer from them, thanks for reporting.

I found this bug as well in kde3.5rc1. I think the context menu is removed after the mousewheel scroll, but the document is not redrawn.

When you right-click, drag a selection and release the button, the context menu comes up. Now scroll with the mouse wheel while menu is still opened, and the dragged reagion is still visible together with the menu, but I can open the menu again. This only seems to be graphics problem.

I can confirm this. It happens since I turned off backingstore and save-unders.

Hello,

As already noted, this is an upstream Qt bug (and thus closing this report as such).

Unfortunately, Qt 3 is no more supported, so most probably this bug will not be fixed by Nokia (former Trolltech).
