Description Andrew de Quincey 2005-01-24 22:01:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc 3.4.3
OS: Linux

I'm trying to print a picture to a colour printer on a remote CUPS server.

I opened the picture in kview, selected the printer properties: paper size (4x6 photo), and various other printer-specific things (dpi, paper type etc).

I also chose "fit image to page size", and "centre image on page".

Finally, I chose landscape as the orientation. I did NOT click "save" on the printer properties dialogue as I only want these settings for this session. I did click "OK" though.

If I then print with no preview, everything is fine.

However, if I select the preview checkbox, I see the preview - it is correct (i.e. landscape, centered). However when I click print from the preview window, the image is printed in portait, chopping the top off it.

Hi sorry I never replied to this - I kinda expected to receive an email if it was updated and I never did (or I missed it).

Anyway, just retested with 3.4.2, and it all seems to work fine now - so this can be closed.
