Version:           3.3.1 (using KDE 3.3.1,  (3.1))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-3)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-rc1

In the resource configuration dialog for "birthdays resource" there is a "read only" check box, deactivating it has no obvious effect.

The newly added birthdays are read only events nevertheless, though I would like to change the alarm time for some of them.
