Description Pau Capdevila 2005-01-24 13:28:59 UTC
Version: 0.9.2 (using KDE 3.3.2, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-1-686-smp

I can send files to gaim clients but I can't receive from gaim. I don't receive the incoming file dialog, and thus cannont download the file.

I have the same bug. However, support of Jabber in libgaim is AFAIK not very good.
Comment 2 Till Gerken 2005-01-24 18:14:34 UTC
Can you confirm that you are actually trying to send with the proper protocol and not with Gaim's own invention of Jabber file transfers? We don't support the latter.
Comment 3 Pau Capdevila 2005-01-29 17:16:24 UTC
How can I verify that?

Thank you,

Pau

Comment 4 Till Gerken 2005-01-29 17:25:57 UTC
Try to receive a file from Psi or another client with a proper file transfer implementation. If that works, it's Gaim's fault. Otherwise we need to have a look into it.
Comment 5 Pau Capdevila 2005-02-11 12:47:02 UTC
It was GAIM's fault.
Modern versions of GAIM are more compatible.
