Description Andreas Schallenberg 2005-01-18 16:32:10 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

New filters are named by the first rule:
<From>:some.name@domain.com

Many of my rules have several conditions
which match the from-entry but a single action
where to store it.

I'd like to have a renaming functionality which
takes the last filter action for that rule to
create a new name. For example having a rule
to store mails into "Mike Example" (which is
a subfolder to "Friends") the rule could read
"Friends/Mike Example".

This would it make much easier to maintain the
rules, especially if wish #97349 is implemented,
too. *dreaming*

Anyway: Great app!

You can rename your filters to whatever you like (as long as the names are unique). Please don't expect another option to define something the automatic naming of filters is based on.
