Description Henrik Steffien 2005-01-16 18:35:44 UTC
Version: 1.4.0-beta1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler:          g++ (GCC) 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-5)
OS: Linux

Hello,

i'm using the current beta version compiled out of umbrello-1.4.0beta1.tar.bz2 (date: 2005-01-15 05:07). The application show the version number 1.3.90.
Do the following steps to reproduce:

1. Start the application with a blank diagram
2. Insert a class
3. Undo the insert (press undo-button in the toolbar)
4. Redo (press redo-button in the toolbar) --> here Umbrello immediately crashes

Following backtrace from KCrash:

Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
`system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols.

Even in more complex diagrams the problem appears.
I also compiled the version 1.3.2 from sources. In this version I cannot produce the error.

Cannot confirm on HEAD.
Could you try again with tabbed diagrams disabled?
(Might be a side effect from the broken tabbed diagrams in 1.4beta1)
Comment 2 Henrik Steffien 2005-01-17 22:07:05 UTC
Hello Oliver,

similar to bug 97182 the problem disappears when I deactivate the "tabbed diagrams" option. Also the compilation with the current umldoc.cpp fixes this bug.
