Description Hackeron 2005-01-14 16:18:17 UTC
Version: 0.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.2, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-ck1

I love how you can select images and view just those in showfoto. However I would love to have maybe a tickbox, or have showfoto detect if only one photo location is given, and in that case show that photo and all the other photos in folder.

Its quite annoying having to select all photos, right clicking, clicking on open with and finally clicking on open with showfoto and at least in my opinion, its a valid assumption if only 1 photo location is given then user simply clicked on a photo in a folder and would like to browse through the rest without going on a frenzy of selecting and clicking. If you disagree then at least a tickbox to enable this functionality would be highly appreciated.

I miss this feature too. Would really be more ease of use just to click on NEXT.

Basically, I want the same thing too. What I would like to do is to be able to select a folder in the open dialog, which will open all files in that immediate directory (no recursion).

Perfect. Seems to be done in newer versions. At least in digikam-0.9.0_beta1 it's in.

Please test and close.
