Version: 1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.2, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-gentoo-r1 the new kmail version (1.7.2) produces a weird bug : When sending (receiving is ok) mail, I get the error : "qq temporary problem (#4.3.0)" When googling this, I see that it is most often related to qmail issues. The problem is : I don't have qmail installed here. This was not happening with prevous versions.
Where do you see that error? In a dialog box shown by KMail when it's trying to send an email? Or do you receive an email from your ISP telling you the message delivery failed? In either case, can you try a different SMTP server?
I get a dialog box from Kmail when trying to send the email At the time I get the dialog box, the progress bar is between 60 and 80 %

same with different server
Do you still see this error with a later version of KMail?
I have not had this for a while now. I'm using 1.9.7 version now
Please reopen this report if this problem reappears. But it's probably a server-side problem anyway.
