Description Jan Hoogenboom 2005-01-05 15:03:13 UTC
Version: 1.7.1 (using KDE 3.3.1, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-3)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-1-686-smp

Creating new mail folders takes 50 seconds (after pressing Okay).

I have +/- 4.200 existing folders and 1.2 gigabyte of mail data.

All data is on a filesystem mounted via NFS.

Both client and server are Debian (2.6 kernel)

In previous Kmail versions creating a new folder took only +/- 3 seconds.

It seems like this kmail version re-reads all folders for some reason.

Could you please test this problem with a recent KMail version, to make sure it isn't already fixed?

I close this bug for now.
Please reopen, if you it's still a problem in a recent KMail version.
