At present the legend text associated with a curve is simply the name of the curve. It would be useful to allow the user to enter an alternative (or extra) piece of text to describe the curve in the legend. This text would make use of the extented formatting available in labels. The curve name text itself would not make use of the extended formatting, and would display as simple text.
