Version: 0.7 (using KDE 3.3.2-1.2.1.kde, Fedora Core release 1 (Yarrow)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031022 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.2-1) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-1.2199.nptlsmp "Email Images" feature (from the "Images" or context RMB menu) doesn't work if "Thunderbird binary path" setting is incorrect (doesn't point to existing file). It is logical in case if mail agent is set to Thunderbird - but it is not working for other mailers too (I'm using KMail) - appears a messagebox with the massage about incorrect path. There is a workaround - set "Thunderbird binary path" to some existing file (probably doesn't matter what file, it should just exist and be readable) and "Mail agent" to correct value - KMail in my case. In this case path is correct, check succeeds & digikam successfully starts KMail. Expected Behavior - "Thunderbird binary path" should not be checked if mailer is not set to Thunderbird. BTW, there is no such setting to other mail programs (or why it exists for Thunderbird?).
Me too (you got there a few hours earlier).
this has been fixed in cvs. or at least i can't reproduce it anymore with my cvs installed version
