Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc 3.4 

When copying a big directory, the copy progress dialog displays false information.

The copy is almost terminated, but the progress bar displays 38% and 172/460 Mb.

The platform is not 'Gentoo Packages' but 'Mandrake packages', sorry for the mistake.

I've just committed a fix to kio in kdelibs that should solve this. (See http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-core-devel&m=111653689824379&w=2 for an explanation)

The fix has been committed to both the HEAD and 3.4 branch. If you can, when 3.4.1 is released, can you verify the fix and close this report?

The progress bar seems to be correct now! (KDE 3.4.2)
