Description Greg Meyer 2004-12-24 19:09:37 UTC
Version: cvs-20041223 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

After updating from cvs on 12/23, the scope stopped working when using the xine engine. It works fine with the gstreamer engine. I have confirmed this on two pcs, one running kde 3.3.2 and the other running kde 3.2.3. The version of xine in question is 1.0-rc8

Markey, before you get mad, I did enter cvs as the version number when I entered this bug, and you'll notice that version is unspecified in this report :p

Thanks, will fix when I have a chance.

I'll have the same problem. All analyers/scopes are not working with xine engine (1.0-rc8) but with arts engine. I've compiled 1.2beta2 (not the cvs version).

I just upgraded xine-lib to 1.0 final, and although some of the instability I was having appears to have gone away, the scope is still not working.
Comment 5 Rob Hughes 2004-12-31 12:54:00 UTC
I can also confirm this on FC3 with 1.2beta2 compiled against xine-lib xine-lib 1.rc8.

This is fixed as of 2004-01-15
