Description Wilbert Berendsen 2004-12-24 07:59:15 UTC
Version: 0.16 (using KDE 3.3.2, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-gentoo-r6

When a topic is long, it is abbreviated with some periods at the end, which is nice, I think.

But when the abbreviation is in the middle of a link, the url it points to is abbreviated as well, making the link unusable.

I will attach an example screenshot.

shows abreviated link

The link at the end of the topic should be http://www.kde.nl/apps/kpilot/ but
is abbrevated to http://www.kde.nl/...

When I click on it, konqueror tries to open "http://www.kde.nl/..." which does
not exist.

Expected result: Show "http://www.kde.nl/..." but go to
"http://www.kde.nl/apps/kpilot/" when the link is clicked.
