Description Artemio 2004-12-23 20:05:04 UTC
Version: 1.3.4 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.4
OS: Linux

Currently, it is not possible to normally use SVG images in KWord, because they are displayed distorted (I will post a screenshot). It would be very nice to be able to use SVG images in documents, since it would allow people insert drawings without exopting to pixmaps, not to worry about image resolution for screen/printng, and reduce document file size, to name just a few benefits. KSVG has very good SVG support, why not try it's code KWord?

Here is how the SVG file looks in KSVG and how it looks in KWord.

KWord uses Qt's SVG implementation.

So I am changing this bug to a wish.

Have a nice day!
