Description Nicolas Ternisien 2004-12-21 18:58:56 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
OS: Linux

When you try to save a display profile in Konqueror (like "filemanagement", or "webbrowsing"... or something else), it makes some things very strange.

I use KDE in french, so when I try to save a profile, the default name is the english name "filemanagement" and not a i18n name, so it creates a duplicate profile with a different name than mine.

So at the end, I've got 2 different profiles, and I think it's not normal.

Moreover, there is also another thing to be done, because the Menu "Configuration / Save the display profile "filemanagement" " is translated in french in
"Configuration / Enregistrer le profil d'affichage "filemanagement" "

so, the name is not correct, because it is an english one, and I would like to have the french one.

Thanks ;-)

Excuse my accent, I'm french ;-)

When you save a profile, the default "webbrowsing" profile should still be there. You can delete your custom profiles via the "Configure View Profiles..." option (in English), but you can't delete the two default ones.

Regardless, it does seem like those strings should be translated via i18n.

The profiles names are translated via i18n in 4.1
