Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1) Installed from: Mandrake RPMs OS: Linux I'd like to be able to change the background image used in Ksame. Ideally I'd like to be able to choose a directory containing many wallpaper images (and if possible an option to use that directory and subdirectories) The KSame game is 10:15 objects in size. That 2:3 ratio of the game area matches the standard ratio of Desktop, the perfect size for reusing standard wallpapers. hope you will consider adding this feature (perhaps some of the functionality could be borrowed from or shared with Kbounce?)
Is there any chance at all of this request being confirmed? Thanks to Konstruct I have KDE 3.4 running and I still think this would be an interesting enhancement to Ksame, hope you will consider it or even make any kind of response?
KSame in KDE 4 will be themeable.
> KSame in KDE 4 will be themeable. I'm not really asking for themes support, what I am asking is quite seperate from that. Also you say it will be themeable, does that mean this is fixed in SVN? If it is not already fixed in SVN it seems too early to close this request. (I dont have the time to checkout Konstruct at the moment and build things myself to see if this is fixed.) Please tell me more.
Yes, the code is in SVN (I believe SuSE makes regular packages for KDE4 snapshots, you don't need konstruct). There's only one theme so far, though. I'm not really sure it is a good idea to choose the background image separately from the theme.
Henrique see KBounce, you can set it to reveal a different wallpaper for each level which is what I'm hoping for in KSame. Thanks.

I tried KBounce, but I still don't think it is a good idea for KSame. Random backgrounds might be too distractive, and pixmap backgrounds won't scale well.
This feature is now available in the new Klickety-based version of KSame.
