Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE 3.3.1-2.2 Red Hat, Red Hat Linux (Heidelberg)) Compiler: gcc version 3.4.2 20041017 (Red Hat 3.4.2-6.fc3) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.9-1.681_FC3 Kile will crash when I attempt to save my working file. The crash is produced by either selecting Edit -> Save or by the icon. The save dialogue window appears and I am able to select the directory to which I wish to save my file. Once I place the cursor in the "location" box (where I actually name the file) and attempt to type a filename, the program crashes. The changes made to the file are not saved.
Addition: the file is a new one. I am able to edit and save an existing file (with an altered filename) with no problems. Apologies for not including this in the original report.
