Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1) OS: Linux In the week view day names are abbreviated when the name is to long to fit in the column. I can only report it for the german translation. When the window width is to small, the dates and day names in the column titels have funny cut-offs. When the column is _wide_ enough, the title (in german) looks f.e. like: Montag, 29. November 2004 | Dienstag, 30. November 2004 | Mittwoch, 1. Dezember 2004 | Donnerstag, 2. Dezember 2004 | ... When the column is to small, is looks like: Mo., 29. | Dienstag, 30. November 2004 | Mittwoch, 01. Dezember 2004 | Do., 2. | ... Seems to become cut-off when the string is to long to fit in the column. - A posibility to change the font (size) for the column titels would help. - A option to select different date formats for the title. F.e.: "DD.MM.YY" would save space and it's more meaningful than "Do., 29.".

Still in 3.5.0. Seems it depends on the width of the organizer view.

The width is divided into equal-spaced areas for each day. Now, if the header for a day is too long to fit into the given width, it is abbreviated. Currently this is done for each column (=day) separately, so some might be abbreviated, some fit in fully. I agree it might be better to abbreviate all headers if one doesn't fit, but the problem is that these headers are independent widgets, so they don't know if the text in some other of the widgets doesn't fit... Cheers, Reinhold
Maybe sometime there is an solution. It's really NO urgent bug. More a blemish.
Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list.
To avoid inconsistency in the week view, all days are now abbreviated. (KDE 4.1). Closing this report.
