Description Ian Ventura-Whiting 2004-11-21 19:07:31 UTC
Version: 1.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: n/a n/a
OS: Linux

The ability to specify which component kontact should startup with. I typically exit Kontact from the e-mail component, so kontact starts with the e-mail component. It would be nice if you could override the startup component so that I could always start kontact in summary view, then go and have a look at my mail.

Great program. :-)

Ian

Hi,

with Kontact from KDE 3.4, you can pass a command line option

  --module=XXX

where XXX can be:
 specialdatesplugin
 kpilotplugin
 multisynk
 journalplugin
 knodeplugin
 kmailplugin
 kaddressbookplugin
 knotesplugin
 korganizerplugin
 todoplugin
 summaryplugin

Ciao,
Tobias

That's great. :-)

There should be a graphical option to set this, rather than just depending on the command line options.

Great work!

Ian
