Description Timo Veith 2004-11-20 13:54:38 UTC
Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc-3.3.4-r1
OS: Linux

I am using multiple tabs and like the background scheme "transparent for midnight commander". When I close the tabs until the last on the background colour suddenly becomes white and the font becomes light grey. The input is backgrounded by the light grey, so you cannot read what you type. If I move the window of another app over the konsole window and give the focus back to konsole, the backgound has parts of the former app in it.
I assume that updating of the transparency of the konsole background is not being handled correctly, when the tab before the last tab is being closed.

Are you using DynamicHide? Or hiding the tabbar? If so, this has been fixed in KDE3.4
