Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1) Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages In KMail's message list, all PGP/Mime encrypted and signed Mails are listed with the following icons: status (new,read,...), attachment (the paper clip), encrypted, and signed. However, the attachement icons shouldn't be there for those mails that actually do not contain an attachment.

We have code to detect this now, maybe that was done after 3.3.1, I'm not sure. (details at https://intevation.de/roundup/kolab/issue28)
Just a quick note that this bug is still present in KDE 3.3.2.
Still not implemented in KDE 3.4.
In KDE 3.5, this bug has been partially fixed: PGP-signed mails are shown correctly, i.e. without attachment icon. However, PGP-encrypted mails still incorrectly have this icon in the message list.
Not fixed in 3.5.1.
Not fixed in 4.0.82.
Not fixed in 4.0.98.
Behaviour is still the same as described in Comment #4 using kmail from svn trunk r860647. So it shows the attachement icon for encrypted mails but not for signed messages, where it shouldn't display an icon for any of them.
We need a "not fixed" message for this year too. I just run into this issue again with KDE-4.3.2 (on Kubuntu-9-10).
Quite the ticket with a number of anniversaries - not intended as a positive paramater. I do not have the aforementioned issue with pgp signed, pgp encrypted nor pgp signed/encrypted messages in Kontact 4.8.3. I'm therefore closing this ticket as FIXED. However, if the issue still exists in a recent version of KDE, please feel free to reopen the ticket.
