Description Davide Ferrari 2004-11-14 13:45:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

I'm trying to copy files from within a zip file using the zip: kioslave, it is a zip file with numerous subdirs and a mixed number of large and small files (with large > 300MB). If I use Ark to extract it, no problems at all. If I use KIOSlaves, the larger files are extracted as 0 bytes files, while the smaller files are extracted without problem. So from a starting zip of 1.5GB I get a final directory of about 70MB.

Hi,

could you create a preferrably small test case for this problem and put that zip archive up on some webspace, so that we can debug it ?

thanks, Holger
Comment 2 Davide Ferrari 2004-12-16 23:10:02 UTC
Well, the fact is that with other smaller zips it works quite well.
Anyway I'll to produce a test case...well maybe I could point you to the file I was trying to extract but this is not the right place ;)

(it still happens on 3.3.2)
