Version: 3.3 (using KDE 3.3.0, (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-12) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1 The month view is hard for the quick-read (one look and you know it all), but I am not the only one who spotted that and there lot of reports concerning that issue. However I'd submit a RFE to extend list of configuration colors and to add new colors that "Today" is displayed with. "Today" shall differ visually more than with day color, so customisable background color for that day shall work.
I completely agree! I would also like to have a "traditional paper like" view, of course with months linked as a continuous, but in vertical, row-oriented setup, instead of that squares left-to-right, top-to-bottom stream. So, to use Alan Cooper's worlds, you can merge "mechanical age" and "information-age" advantages, OMHO (maybe we could replace the current view with it) Also would be cool being able to click on a day in the month view, and change the "current position" of the "top left" calendar (don't know how is named, sorry)
KDE 3.4 draws a thicker border around today's cell. IMO, a new option for defining the today's color in the month view would be overkill.
