Description Miles Stevenson 2004-10-26 22:32:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 3.3
OS: Linux

You should be able to easily mark the "status" of ToDo items. Possible "status" should include:

-In Progress
-Waiting on someone else
-Not started
-Complete

Also:
-I should be able to define the status while creating the ToDo, or via the right-click menu when viewing the ToDo list.
-It would be a nice bonus to have the ability to create custom "statuses" in the same way custom categories are created.
-I should be able to customize the ToDo list view, to display the status for each item, and in turn, be able to sort/filter by such status.
-The "complete" status would be automatically selected when ever the task is marked done.

As the ultimate added bonus, it would be nice to keep a "changelog" of status' when they change, associating a timestamp and description to each status change. For example, I have an item called "build webserver":

10/15/2004 - 1:00PM - Waiting on Someone Else - "waiting for mike to finish installing the web content"
10/15/2004 - 1:35PM - In Progress - "web content installed. Running final tests"
10/17/2004 - 3:43PM - Complete - " handed the server off to bob for physical relocation to production rack. out of my hands now".
