Description Pietro 2004-10-26 20:00:31 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Hi,
I would like to reoffer for consideration a wish numbered 29292 opened
2001-07-18 22:33 and (I think) never considered. It was posted, erroneously?, for korganizer package.

Here it is:

It would be convenient if

 (1) The user can shift-click (or whatever click combo the user wants) and to have the inline image or linked file (.mp3 .tar.gz) saved immediately (to the current save directory or another one configured somewhere) /without/ bringing up a Save As... dialog box.

 (2) this action should be re-assignable to another combination if the user wishes.

 (3) if the user performs a quicksave on the white space on the page this should be interepreted as a 'archive this page' (quick archive; again no Save As... should be raised).

This saves time when pulling many files off an organized database (like classicalarchives.com's classical midi archive) or image directories/sites.

A small note on (1): I would like to have this feature to kick galeon and gnome off from my computer! To let galeon behave like that I've done a small patch on a file and recompiled it. I do not understand programming, I've only looked for "SHIFT" and converted it to "CONTROL" in the routine that handles the saving of things.

Let me know something!

Bye bye,
Pietro
