Description Andrius Kazimieras Kasparavičius 2004-10-25 02:53:26 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Kalarm could play random file from playlist or just integrate with amaroks playlists or smth. Because it's harder to wake up with the same beep. :)

This feature would add too much complexity to KAlarm. Playing playlists through specified applications is really beyond the scope of KAlarm, because it would require KAlarm to know how to play files in all possible applications. Bear in mind that applications can come and go, and possibly change their interfaces.

This is really best handled by the Special Actions feature, where any command can be entered by the user to achieve their aim.
