Description Clemens Schwaighofer 2004-10-21 10:31:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I can recive japanese message via MSN in kopete, but if I get a japenese message in ICQ I just see mojibake (aka garbage == ASCII chars). I can send japanese, but I cannot recive.

I even can't select UTF-8 from the encoding list in the drop down in the "persons ICQ settings".

Renders this client unsuable for ICQ for me ... (btw, gaim can this, and also talk to aim & icq same time with same account)
