Description gdamjan 2004-10-19 14:47:50 UTC
Version: 1.1.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Slackware Packages
Compiler: gcc-3.3.4
OS: Linux

I've tried both amarok-1.1.1 and amarok-1.1 built against xine-lib-1rc6a and both crash if I try to play a http (shoutcast) stream.

xine itself (via xine-ui or kaffeine) can play the same streams ok (using xine-lib-1rc6a).

This doesn't happen if the backend is xine-lib-1rc4 (I'm using the same amarok binary built against xine-lib-1rc6a successfully on another computer with xine-lib-1rc4).

Both my systems are slackware-10.0, x86, gcc-3.3.4, kde-3.2.3.

This must be the seventh duplicate report of this. But well done for reporting it more accurately than the others ;-)

Still I can't fix it, I can't understand it.

I just upgraded xine-lib to rc7 and amaroK no longer crashes (at least it doesn't crash imidietally).

Should I mark this bug as RESOLVED?
