Description Tristan Miller 2004-10-19 14:23:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I'm running XMMS 1.2.8, which doesn't seem to work properly with KWin's "To Desktop" command. Not sure if it's a KWin bug or an XMMS bug.

To reproduce:

1) Load XMMS.

2) Make sure the equalizer and playlist windows are visible.

3) (Optional) Make sure the native window decorations are visible (Options->Preferences->Options->Show windowmanager decorations)

4) Make sure multiple desktops are enabled in KDE.

5) Right click on the XMMS title bar or on the XMMS taskbar entry and select "To Desktop" and then select a different desktop.

Observed behaviour:

The main XMMS window gets moved to the specified desktop, but the playlist and equalizer windows stay put. Switching to the new desktop and then double-clicking on the equalizer and/or playlist buttons causes the two extra windows to join the main XMMS window on the new desktop.

Expected behaviour:

All XMMS windows, including the playlist and equalizer, should be moved to the new desktop.

This may be related to Bug 65970.
