Description Jarkko Lehti 2004-09-28 21:45:34 UTC
Version: 1.1-CVS (using KDE 3.3.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3-r6, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.7-gentoo-r11

m3u urls generated by edna (http://edna.sourceforge.net/) are not playable in amarok, list gets added to playlist but urls are not playable.

theres example whats inside on such m3u:

grue@nolife grue $ more 10\ -\ Let\ The\ Beat\ Control\ Your\ Body.mp3.m3u
http://xxxx.xxx.xx:8080/2%20Unlimited/2%20Unlimited%20---%20Hits%20Unlimite
d/10%20-%20Let%20The%20Beat%20Control%20Your%20Body.mp3

url name hid with xxxx's

such urls plays completely fine with kmplayer

when closing amarok and opening it again with such playlist produces something like this:

Can you update your amaroK to a current version of CVS to see if it is still doing this.

Updated to latest amarok-xvs today, and tried to play files through edna again. with gst-engine song gets loaded (according to bandwidth meter) but nothing is audible, amarok shows its playing.. With xine engine it seems to work..
