Description Christian Parpart 2004-09-28 01:25:47 UTC
Version: 1.7 (using KDE 3.3.0, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.1 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.1-r1, ssp-3.4-2, pie-8.7.6.3)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-gentoo-r1

when I start kmail, it often remains
emtpy, that is, no view, neither the
folder tree view, the mail list view,
nor the mail content view is displayed.
sometimes it comes back, when completely
resetting the configs, but I won't dare
it one time again.

Greetings,
Christian Parpart.

I just had to completely delete my configs related to kmail in order to get this started.

$ find ~/.kde -name '*kmail*' -exec rm -rf {} \;

Since initial report it worked till today afternoon,
NOW it doesn't (again, and again, and again, the same
error behavior!)

this really rans me out of order, I depend on mails, and my
FAVORIT mail client doesn't wanna me read/handle my mail.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Regards,
Christian Parpart.

This is very probably an installation problem.
