Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE 3.3.0, Gentoo) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 20040412 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.3-r6, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-nitro5 Whenever someone sends me a message with an http:// or ftp:// or etc. link in it, Kopete says this: Kopete encountered the following error while parsing a message: Message could not be parsed. This is likely due to an encoding problem. Please ensure you have selected the correct encoding for this contact. If the protocol:// part is omitted, it works fine (I can also /send/ any kind of link perfectly well, it's just recieving them that's the problem). This is on Yahoo, the other guy is using GAIM. It's not the coloring of the link (saw a bug report where coloring in messages caused similar behaviour), as I can recieve messages that are manually colored well enough. Haven't tried it on other networks or with different clients on the other side (just started using Kopete a few days ago, this guy is my only contact ;).
Fixed for KDE 3.3.1 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 87190 ***
