Version: 1.7 (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.108-default If I use the Anti-SPAM assistant to create some SPAM-filter rules, it detects Spamassassin and Bogofilter, but does not create any filters that show in the filter menue afterwards. I reacll that it did so right after the upgrade to this version, but not anymore...
Can you provide more details? Do you have generated filters at the moment? Do you have toolbar icons? What exxactly do you select in the wizard? Do you use the latest Suse RPMs? They updated them quite often in the last days. It might be a good idea to switch to use the current ones provided via their LinuKS service.

The problem is fixed in the development version which will be available with KDE 3.4. Meanwhile, moving away $KDEHOME/share/apps/kmail/kmmmainwin.rc might be a workaround. But this lets you loose all changes for menu, toolbar and shortcuts, so that you're back to the default.
I have this problem, but there is no such file $KDEHOME/share/apps/kmail/kmmmainwin.rc, so I don't know if is possible to solve it now :(
Also I have the latest rpms provided by suse and I have my own filters and I didn't add any toolbar icon excep those included by kmail
There was another bug which prevented the creation of filters if the first / upper option on the last page was not selected. This bug is at least fixed for KDE 3.4. Can you try again with the "Classify messages manually as spam" option checked?
can someone at least provide the filter configuration to add to get a functionning clam filter ? waiting for kde 3.4 is not an option for all ppl under kde 3.3
